"We arrived too early to check in but the staff who was there on the morning of 2/11 was so helpful in getting us situated with lockers to store our luggage until check-in time. We appreciated the helpfulness and patience of the staff member that day. She and another staff member were there at check-in at 3:00 and again they were so helpful. We would stay there again. The hotel is also so convenient due to being in walking distance to Atami Station as well as to bus and taxi hubs."

"There's no private bathroom in the room. Most Japanese accommodations provide a yukata robe, especially for when accessing common bathroom facilities. This property had none to offer. I would not recommend this accommodation to anyone who has physical limitations, such as difficulty walking as there is a very steep switchback to access this property. "Booked an oceanview room. Check in girl that served me was unfriendly but all the other staff were good. The view of the ocean was obscured by a tree and was on the first floor so very disappointed. I asked for a higher floor to get the view but same check in girl was unhelpful. Said nothing available without even looking at her computer. Maybe she doesn’t like Westerners. Otherwise it’s a nice place and the buffets were excellent."
