"I picked the home because of the large screened porch. And it did not disappoint; peaceful and comfy. I spent hours out there with a book. We were surprised to learn the house is mostly underground which makes it quite unique. We were also surprised to find the on-property gun range and out door gym. Be sure to check out all the springs located nearby. And finally, the owners and property managers were very responsive and helpful. "

The host reached out and was very informative about directions and the current restoration and cleanup still taking place in Keaton Beach. The house was clean and well stocked. It was very quiet which is what we needed for a good night’s rest. We were also excited that cable was provided and we were able to watch football. "We were very pleased with this cute tiny home. It was clean and well stocked. The only complaint, if I had one, would be that the bedroom was unusually warm so I'm glad I took my little fan. It did cool down after the 1st night. Overall, great weekend getaway at the Salty Scallop! Would definitely recommend for a couples retreat at Keaton 😊"
