"I had a lovely stay at Casa da Cisaltina. Fatima, the owner, made me feel right at home and was very helpful with information about things to do in the area and suggestions! The breakfast was delicious and included her homemade jams. There is a wonderful view out the backyard of the northside of the caldera. Added bonus is the parking on site - a car is definitely necessary in the Povocao area and eastern side of the island. "

"Wow! This was our second time on São Miguel and first time staying in Lagoa. We chose Don Jose because of the space. This time my partner and I were traveling with our mothers.The location in Lagoa was wonderful. Close enough to walk to cafes & town center and easy parking.The home is so spacious. Lots of room to spread out and not feel cramped at all. A great amount of outdoor space too. We were there in winter, so it was pretty rainy, we didn't get to use the BBQ but if we stay again we...

"It was great to be close to everything in Ponta Delgada and the parking was convenient. Being 2 couples we were able to each have our own floor. The apartment was in a quiet area but just a short walk away from the action. Welcomebuddy was very helpful and on top of everything."

"We initially had some challenges getting ahold of the manager when checking in, but that was resolved. It was close to many sights and a short walk to a small grocery store, which was really convenient. Would stay at this property again!"

"Nicely appointed home just outside of Ponta Delgada. Clean, and spacious with beautiful gardens. We were 2 couples on our first visit to Sao Miguel and the proximity to the airport and city gave us the perfect "home base" while traveling the beautiful island of Sao Miguel. Would highly recommend for both couples traveling and families."

"My friend and I very much enjoyed our stay. Patricia the host was very accomodating. The house was laid out in a way where we each slept well in separate bedrooms, but could lounge in the front room. The outdoor patio had a fantstic view! Close to swimming and a fun cafe and an easy walk to the marina and shops. We could even use a washer, which helped. The only challenge was for my friend who has a bad knee, so the entry stairs were hard for her. But would be fine for most people! I would stay...
