"We enjoyed our stay- the location worked well for us. Samuel was responsive and we appreciated the pool towels and amenities. The Portuguese products and toiletries were a great touch - very thoughtful. The pool isn’t heated so we didn’t use it sadly- the weather was warm but the pool water was not. We did use the hot tub. The view is lovely and the space was great. I wish that the place was aired out before our visit as seemed stuffy and humid- but seemed to improve during the stay."

"Enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria 2. The attention to detail in construction, upkeep, furnishings and amenities was greatly appreciated. Having a startup supply of food soaps and paper products was a pleasant surprise. The hospitality and trip suggestions from Sergio was such a bonus. We would happily recommend and would be pleased to return. The view from the patio and Gardens in the rear were lovely spaces to relax and enjoy the Beautiful scenery. The bread delivery was such a treat!"

"Seven of us stayed in the house for a week after Christmas. The house is clean and very spacious, so there was lots of room for all of us. We made good use of the pool table, foosball table, indoor/outdoor fire places and the outdoor mini-football field. Walter and Priscilla were responsive and helpful hosts. Terceira is a great island, and everything is in easy driving distance. We enjoyed the location of the house, but it is a long walk, about an hour and partly through a more industrial area,...

"My family and I brought my mother, who’s family originated in the azores here for a family vacation and it was an absolute blast. The place was incredible, the house was clean and well maintained. The pool was a huge hit with the kids and very refreshing after a long day of hiking and exploring the island. The outdoor shower was nice to clean beach sand off and rinse off before going into the house. The wood fired grill was great for a few nights we stayed in for dinner. We had more than enough...
