"First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...

"Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "We really enjoyed our stay at Castle Court. The front desk staff were very courteous and helpful with guiding us to local shopping and attractions. Our room was clean and spacious. Our room safe would not lock but we were provided with safe keeping of our valuables in the property main safe. Overall we really loved this property and would recommend it. "

"I stay was for business which had me arrive very late at night and depart early morning. The hotel reception did call me to clarify that I would be staying as they grew concerned at the time of evening before my arrival which I appreciated. The reception were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival.
