"This is a really pretty hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious and up-to-date. Hotel has a pretty fancy feel. And the gym was ok too (which is an accomplishment for hotel gyms in general). Service was top-notched. The hotel concierge, Lucky, went the extra mile to help my get a cab all the way to Shanghai. He deserves a huge shout out and is the reason I would recommend this property! "Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for.
