"We enjoyed staying in the Bergstrom! Such a cute little house in a nice, peaceful neighborhood. We weren’t at the place much, but whenever we were, we had a great time. Our only issue was that the toilet wouldn’t flush sometimes, but we figured something out with that. We would definitely stay again! "

"We took a long weekend in Lockhart so my 15YO son could sample the BBQ joints (he's doing competitive HS BBQ.) We found this cabin on VRBO and it was perfect for us! Quiet, out of the way, and all our own. We enjoyed the trail through the woods, sunrise on the deck, and the sounds of horses and cows while we wandered around the grounds. The outdoor shower was a huge hit as well. It's only about 10 minutes from town, and maybe 30 minutes to the Long Time in Austin (where we had a baseball game on...

"We were in town for the F1 race in Austin and this was a perfect location for that event. Very little traffic no matter what time we traveled there. The house is in a great location along the Colorado River with gorgeous sunrise view. Owners have made sure that you’ll have everything you need for a great stay!"

"This is a most unique property and we loved it! It appears to be a renovated old hunting lodge. We were three families and it easily accommodated us. Robert was helpful and easy-going. The house itself is pretty big with a 2 acre lake in the back and feeding stations - we were treated to raccoons and deer at night. The furnishings were out of your great grandparents antique store and comfortable. The master bedroom is massive with a fireplace. The kitchen is more than adequate and the living...

"We stayed for 5 days in Austin. Our family also had another tiny home Nextdoor to the one we stayed in. The home was conveniently located, about 15-20 minutes from downtown. The house was very comfortable for us, we had 3 people in ours and 4 in the other house. The accommodations met all of our needs with a full kitchen and living space. The kids loved staying there as they had their own space as well. They got to swim and play outside on the lawn area. I would highly recommend these units."

"It’s a lovely spot to unwind and disconnect. The property was impeccably clean, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. It’s a bit of a drive from Austin, so Bastrop is the best place for food or groceries. There’s no Wi-Fi, making it an ideal retreat from reality. The only downside was that during our stay we heard some loud music from a nearby bar, which was audible from the cabana. It was manageable, but light sleepers might find it a bit disruptive. "The property is nestled beside a small lake, with a great deck with incredible views of the lake. Very comfortable and cozy bedroom. We made all of our meals there for a group of 4 adults. Beautiful place to get away and chill."
