"Rand Caribe is a beautiful property on the northern side of ambergris caye. The property has a large main pool with swim up bar/restaurant and several other smaller pools. The beach isn’t the main focus because there’s not really a lot of sand. It’s more of a jump off the dock and paddle board or kyack around the reef vibe. The snorkeling is good. You can take tours and rent golf carts to get around the area through the hotel and it was very easy and convenient. The staff is amazing! They bend over backwards to be friendly and helpful! They take American $. It is a 15 minute ride to San Pedro town. And there are some fabulous restaurants on the island and one, Rain, is right at the hotel. We really enjoyed our week here!"
