"Booked a "Deluxe Studio Suite" . There were onlt 2 pictures offered to see room. Wasnt sure about it til i saw the size of the room. "538sf" must have living area not seen in pics? Check in was decent enough. Although i was a little worried with a fire engine parked at door. And a fireman in office . Left before i started check in. The room i stepped into was most definitely no where near 538sf. Pacing it off maybe 240sf. Room was old, dirty, worn down. Something all over desk resembling...

"The staff is outstanding. Check in and valet are quick and easy. It’s quiet with good amenities. This is the third time I’ve stayed here. Unfortunately each time the pullout bed and sitting furniture is very dirty with significant stains. The bed itself is ok, but for the substantial cost of the hotel and how nice everything else is, the cleanliness of the furniture just isn’t where it should be. "

"My wife and I spent our anniversary at Shinola. The staff went above and beyond to make our time there special. We received champagne upon check-in. We also were brought a complementary bottle of wine! We also realized we wanted a room with a tub and when we inquired about the front desk helped us get an awesome room with an incredible view of Woodward and a tub. This was our 3rd stay at Shinola and we loved every second! "
