"An unexpected GEM! The hotel remodeled a number of rooms and ours was incredible. They say the hotel closes in October to complete the job and it will be amazing. We are going to come back next Sept for an extended stay. Can't wait. Great service, close to downtown, very quiet. incredible "

Very plentiful buffet breakfast included, where one can sit at a table overlooking Lake Maggiore. The dinner at this restaurant was excellent. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to the town of Stresa, where there are shops, restaurants, and a boat to transport you to the islands. The gym/spa/pool complex is amazing. The crowning glory of the hotel are the expansive lake views from many rooms. What a glorious thing to wake up to sunrise over the lake!"
