"We stayed at the Sea View room - the staff were lovely and service was good. However, the room itself really needs a face lift - the paint is flaking off all over the windows and some part of the ceiling, the carpet is old and fraying at the junction where it meets the wood floor and the towel rain in the bathroom is loose. Don’t get me wring, the room itself was clean, but it felt a bit unloved. Considering this was one of the more expensive rooms with twin tubs, I would have expected it to be...

"Beautiful and friendly hotel in an excellent location. We had a wonderful time and very well looked after, loved everything about our stay, super clean, tastefully decorated, amazingly friendly staff, all facilities supplied. Breakfast was delicious and so much choice. Could not fault a thing, will definitely be back if we visit Brighton again. Thank you x"

"On arrival at 2pm (1hr prior to official check in time) was advised ‘your room is ready would you like to check in now for an extra £20’. I completely understand paying for a faster clean if the room is needed earlier specially but if its already done, its one hour difference and we have stayed on multiple occasions why charge! The parking alone is £29 for overnight which isn’t the hotels problem but regardless its an additional cost without the hotel looking for extra income at any opportunity "
