"One elevator out but wasn’t a problem while we were there. Called the night before to say we’d be there around 8am and to confirm they can hold luggage. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised to be offered early check-in instead. This was appreciated as we were able to change, freshen up and squeeze in a nap. " The location is perfect for me which is why I keep going there and many aspects of the hotel are good but the room service is poor. When they do it they do not clean or replace used glasses or coffee mugs and do not refresh the tea bags coffee sachets etc. This has been the case every time I've stayed. So much so I brought extra tea bags extra milk and some biscuits of my own. To date I have not spoken with any of the chamber women who speak English so they do not know what I'm asking them to...

"Lovely hotel but on our first night we could smell cigarette smoke coming through the vents . We were moved to another room . They also comped us a breakfast for the inconvenience . The beds at the hotel are rock hard . If you enjoy a firm mattress this won’t be a problem . I definitely think the beds could be upgraded . It’s well located , near the station as well as the Tower of London . Staff were friendly and accommodating . "
