"All in all this was a good place to stay. However, on Wednesday evening I was bit able to get a drink from the bar. I has to say quite loudly "excuse me" to get the attention of two people who were standing behind the bar and discussing a problem. Then when 8 asked fir a half of Guinness the man said "there is no Guinness" and reverted to his discussion. I gave up and went to my room."

"The hotel was very freshly decorated, with some lovely but not excessive amounts of Xmas decs. The room was generously sized, warm and had everything we needed. However on the second day no room service happened, so we had to ask for the minimum of towels and tea tray top up. Staff were all very pleasant and breakfast was very good too. All in all a very good, reasonably priced place to stay. "

"Well managed by Vas although it's clear he has his hands full leading some of his newer team members. We are staying for 11 days due to family illness and Vas in particular has been so very helpful.
