"This was a nice, clean place to stay. Loved how convenient it was to everything. We only stayed a night. Unfortunately it was very loud starting at 5am. From people being loud to garbage being collected, all before 6am. But thankfully everything else was very good, including it being clean and the breakfast offered was very nice. I do recommend trying them as my experience may have been just a fluke. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here. This was my first time coming out to North Carolina for the Land of Oz park and the convenience of this location can’t be beat. The rooms come with more than just a bed and a shower; there was a tiny living room area with a couch and coffee table and a kitchen with fridge, stove and cooking equipment. "Just the perfect getaway. The staff was exceptional. Our dinner at the restaurant was delicious and service was above expectations. The only reason I gave the grounds a 4 was it was only 5 weeks after the hurricane and they were doing some remodeling but I lay no blame on the resort. The road to the resort was under repair but they are doing a great job of cleaning up and getting back to business. I highly recommend. "

"We have stayed in lots of B&Bs, but this lodge is the most beautiful we have ever seen. It is hard to describe how amazing it is and everything was just perfect. We loved staying here. The manager, Bobbie, was just so wonderful and we enjoyed talking with her, and her recommendations for places to visit were great. We felt at home here, and would very highly recommend staying here. We hope to return! 10 out of 10 all around!! "
