"We chose this River Palace due to their proximity to Piazza del Popolo a short walk to/from where our tour meeting location which worked out great. The professional team at River Palace were 1st class starting prior to arrival arranging private airport transfer with Marco, the room which was perfect as it had a cozy TV room adjoining bedroom. No problems with the buffet breakfast (a wide selection of pastries, continental and cooked including gluten free options) and if we asked they’d help or provide anything needed. "Brilliant hotel, great location. A couple of things could be better but overall a great stay and I would stay again. I will start with the 3 negatives we experienced and then the positives. The negatives - The mattress was a well worn memory foam mattress and you could just feel huge dips, lumps and impressions. Not up to the standard to match the hotel but the pillows are good. - in the room above the door is a square light which has a green light in it, so I think it’s an emergency light...
