"Advertised as a hotel (not Pontins) with an address that didn't match the booking one and lacking many of the basics you'd have in in anything resembling a hotel. One of the worst properties I've stayed in over 4 decades. "Loved our stay at The Gallivant and would definitely visit again! Due to the location of the hotel I think this is definitely more of a seasonal hotel, however this didn’t impact my opinion of it, the service was great, room was lovely and the food (both breakfast and dinner) was incredible! My only complaint is that they don’t have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, we were told that we could go to the bar for these however, they charge for them on your bill at the end of the stay which...

"The check in was very easy, arrived after long car journeyfrom London ( freezing day) to find heating on and soothing classical music playing . Also gift of milk cake and biscuits was v nice. The cottage is beautifully furnished with modern and comfortable sofas and bedding. TV in my bedroom was a real treat. full compliment of cooking and dinning impliments. Has parking so a winner,for us.. Richard was delightful and very helpful. Would certainly book again. "
