"A nice place. Will be even better when the refurb is over. The grandeur of the place is great. Good location. JFK proposed to Jackie there. You can sit at their table. This hotel created the Parker roll and the Boston Cream Pie. Tasty food here and tons of interesting historical facts about it, including all the famous people who stayed or worked here."

"On a mangé le buffet déjeuner; suggérer un pourboire de 15% pour un buffet est insultant; c'est moi qui fait le service alors un tel pourboire est insultant. Bien sûr j'aurais pu ne rien donner mais le sentiment de culpabilité résultant fait que l'on donne quand même le 15%."

"The historic part of the hotel is as you would expect small. I recommend staying in the newer buildings. We stayed in the infamous Room 40 of the historic section. It’s definitely a bit creepy and is allegedly haunted. It features a huge antique King size sleigh bed. Great for couples. We didn’t see any ghosts, but the desk got complaints that we were moving furniture around and the TV was loud. Neither of which was true. "
