They said they had breakfast. They didn't. But the biggest gripe I have is the property is right next to railroad tracks. The freight train woke me up at 4:30 in the morning...and that is me sleeping without my hearing aids.

The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and it had lots areas to hang out. Only downside I’d say is the parking is limited for full side suvs and trucks. Spots are very tight

It is always a simple and easy experience staying at basecamp. Walking distance from the main part of town and close to plenty of food and grocery options. Perfect for quick easy lodging on ski trips or as a stopover on a longer drive. The earplugs were a nice touch since trains pass often.

The Lodge was nice, easily accessible and well located. The good. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and the mountain view was stunning. The not so good. No daily room servicing. The parking was not good. With a pick up truck it was close to impossible to park anywhere but the front of the building which has very few spots available on first come first serve basis. I would recommend designsted parking. There was no hot water in the morning for a shower before checkout, so that was dissapointing. No elevator, so heavy luggage needed to be hauled up and down the stairs. This can be difficult for an older couple.

Basecamp Lodge Canmore is super ideal. Very close to any shops and attractions in Canmore. Around 15minutes away from Banff.. Rooms were simple and clean. All you ever need for your trip!
