We relied on public transportation- buses, ferries and walked to restaurants nearby. The views from the villa are amazing! Carate Urio is a great location if you’re looking for more of a quiet residential experience and avoiding high tourist areas. Loved our stay!"

Nicola is a fantastic host and went out of his way to help with bookings and recommendations, even calling a restaurant to assist with a difficult booking. "Host was responsive, courteous, and professional. Unit was clean, newly renovated, and fully featured with an amazing 180 degree view of the lake with a balcony. Just keep in mind the reserved parking spot is down the street so youll have to carry your luggage over and up 2 flights of stairs. "

"Wer bella Italia genießen will, aber nicht soweit fahren möchte, für den ist der Comer See ideal. Die Wohnung samt Dachterrasse ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt um den Comer See zu erkunden. Sehr ruhig gelegen - man hört die Schwalben und kann deren Flug auf der Dachterrasse verfolgen - aber doch mit Anbindung zu den Fähren und Bus in alle Richtungen. Die Wohnung bietet allen Komfort, liegt nahe am See, gute Restauration und sogar ein kleiner Alimentare sind in unmittelbarer Nähe. Einfach perfekt!!!"

"Just back from a fabulous 4 night stay at this beautiful apartment in Curate Urio. We loved everything about it. The views from all the rooms, and some of the bathrooms, were spectacular. We also loved the area, within walking distance of a few good restaurants, quiet, peaceful and great lake views. One of the best, highly recommend !!"

"Appartement très propre et confortable, bien situé dans un village typique et peu touristique donc calme. La terrasse permet de profiter tranquillement de la vue magnifique sur le lac de Côme. Possibilité de baignade à proximité (pas vraiment une plage) et accès facile à l’embarcadère pour rejoindre le ferry et circuler sur le lac. Possibilité limitée de stationnement dans le village. "
