"The outside light was burned out, the bedroom was especially dirty. The fan was covered with so much dust you could not use it. The smoke detectors battery compartments were open with batteries in them so they were not working. The bathroom attached to bedroom had no hot water, tepid at best. The bathroom sink needed 3 lightbulbs there was one. No trash can liners or toilet tissue ( I found a third of a roll). This property is old but it seems to me it should be maintained better. "We checked in late on Thursday, so i didnt contact the property manager until Friday morning. There was no internet and the kitchen sink didnt drain. They replied later that the internet was in the listing. No network by that name. No mention of the plumbing. Then i noticed how dirty the bathroom was (fake eyelashes everywhere). No paper towels. "Simple and at ease from check in! So glad i found this property for our half way stop back to Illinois. The beds were so comfy, kid and dog friendly, no clutter, great water pressure. We felt at home! We stayed with our dog, 2 and 4 year old kiddos, their grandmother and my husband and myself and we had plenty of room! The back yard was so nice for our pup after a long drive. Would easily choose to stay here again, thank you for a great VRBO! "
