"I could barely see the “ocean” from my room…only the lagoon for the sailing club. More importantly, the room was less than desirable. I don’t ask for much. We asked for early check in. While I realize that can be a difficult ask, it wasn’t handled all that well. When the room was finally ready, the bed lacked a top sheet (bottom sheet only). We asked for this to be addressed and housekeeping showed up and handed me sheets for the bed, which I had to put on. The room was not clean. In the morning I went to shower and gobs of dirt and even long hairs (clearly not mine) came off my feet. After showering, I walked to the other side of the room, and my feet were visibly dirty again. As an ocean front property, I could expect some dampness, but there was the telltale odor of mold as well as indications. Overall, the facility is tired. Faucets and non ceramic fixture were corroded (salt air, I presume). The area was nice with small shops and a great coffee shop. Also a good burger/pizza place nearby. Frankly, this was a great disappointment and not worth even the discounted price we paid. I would not recommend this property. Expedia should not offer it."

"Room was too bright to sleep well. Shower never got hot. Beds not comfortable. Wonderful front end staff. Nice looking rooms. Easy walk from cruise ship. Lively fun area to stay. Quick uber to airport. "

"Our room was clean and very nice. That’s the only reason that I raided it a three star. The area it is in there is really nothing around unless you take a cab or you don’t mind walking into town they said they had a shuttle to the cruise port. That is false. We had cold water for showers at the best we could get it to lukewarm. The Jacuzzi upstairs on the roof the jets all had green on the vents, which is not healthy. They also did not have a shuttle to take you into town or the beach so make sure you have plenty of money for cabs unless you don’t mind the walk. The area right around the hotel is very rundown. We did walk and see the memorial park on our way into town. That was very nice. The staff were very friendly, but depending upon who you talk to you got different stories but as I said, our room was very nice. We booked this specifically so that we could go to the beaches. We knew we had transport to the pier and it would take us into town. None of that happened."

"We booked an ocean view balcony premiere room but was placed in a garden view room because we arrived a day late due to flight delays/weather, then we had no hot water for showering until we were placed in the original room we booked a day later, they did give us credit for good and beverages and a night free but are still waiting for the refund…. The property is spectacular and staff polite. "

"Close to old San Juan, and old pier for criuse ship embarkation. Easy walk. Hotel no longer has any restaurant or bar. This site needs updating."
