"This is a very basic “motel” type of property. Our room overlooked the parking lot with our window directly in front of a parked car We asked to be moved and got a room on the back side facing some greenery but had a passageway for staff hauling noisy laundry carts right outside the window. Hallway rugs are tired and worn. Atmosphere was institutional and soulless. Location is off a round about in the middle of nowhere with poor signage to find the property. Staff really friendly and helpful. Decor and collection display of artifacts amazing and just my style!! Grounds might be a bit too trendily dishevelled but it appealed to me. "Good food in the garden, nice to see the rooms ( or the one I dad) had been renovated. It's a great place and I stay about 6 times a year, some of the rooms were looking and feeling tired so fingers crossed they are now spending some money on the place. Service and food always been spot on."
