"We chose this hotel because it was close to the train station - 15 minutes pulling a medium size suitcase over cobblestones. We needed easy access to our train to Vernazza. The staff was very nice. Our room was up a couple flights of stairs and we got help with our luggage. We ate our evening meal at the hotel and the food was just ok. "I stayed in a single room on the 3rd floor. It was very clean and a good size for me. The staff were friendly and helpful. One male receptionist was a bit gruff when giving me directions though. Only a 10 minute walk to the Leaning Tower. Restaurant is open from 8-930pm for dinner and the 8am seating was often full. You can eat from a limited menu at the bar which is open until midnight. "Hotel easily accessible from rd links with secure parking. After initial mix up telling us no booking held reception found our reservation and room was good. Easy walk from hotel to centre of Lucca enough restaurants nearby to use. Room cleaned /laundry everyday if u wanted it. Coffee Tea facilities in room would be useful for this grade of hotel (whilst available in reception area for a charge not everyone wants to mix with other guests)"
