"Monteverdi Country Lodge was very nice stop on our first trip to Costa Rica. The staff went above and beyond to be helpful and kind, and that alone made the stay 5 stars in my book. The room was clean and comfortable. My only small complaint were a slight lack of electrical sockets in our room. We made do, but given how dependent we all are on our devices, a few more would have been nice. "Amazing place to stay. I was in Costa Rica for a month and stayed several places, this one by far was the cleanest of them all. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms spacious and stunning. Wildlife all around, the views and the food are also wonderful. I would love to come back and was sad I only got to stay 2 nights here. would recommend to anyone. 5 stars all around."

Breakfast was a highlight—fried eggs, fresh fruit, and the best (homemade) hot sauce we’ve ever had. "Lovely staff and really well kept, if admittedly spartan, facilities. The breakfasts are great and the location is within easy walking distance of one of the town's best sodas. The staff are excellent at managing expeditions and tours as well. Finally, while the bed was small and the hot water did flicker, the room held a real charm to it nestled among the trees. A good place to stay."

"The complex was serene! Felt nice to have our own space with outdoor space as well. It felt like we were in our own little villa. Was able to even see wild animals within the property itself! Also met one of the owners and he was very friendly. The only downside is that the roads getting to the property are very rough so a AWD car is recommended"

"It’s one of the least expensive options for staying in town in Santa Teresa but still a lot of money for no hot water or seating options besides hard benches or hammocks. Staff was mostly very nice. "Spent 3 nights at this hotel. Room was clean, but needs further update in terms of furnishings but we didn’t mind. The view of the ocean from the room & dining area is SPECTACULAR! The staff was very attentive and the food wonderfully delicious! Would recommend staying here on your trip to Quepos. "

"Hotel Ibiza was an excellent place to stay. The room was clean and the service was really good. The pool and bar areas were super clean, relaxing. The food was also very good. I will definitely be back. I would 100% recommend this hotel for travelers looking for a relaxing experience in Jaco. It is centrally located, within walking distance of the beach and local bars and shops. The staff were attentive to guest needs and ensured safety and security of the property at all times. I was able to park my rental car in front with no issues."
