"This is an old-style single level motel from the 50s. It is clean, comfortable, quiet and safe. The beds are comfy, and there is a nice coffee maker. There is also a great restaurant across the parking lot right next to the river where we ate both nights we were there. The manager is super friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this motel."

"Front desk was very helpful! One of the floorboards (laminate wood in room) was loose and stubbed my toe real bad. Comforter had some holes in it. Felt secure (24/7 surveillance) and the bathroom had a tub/shower and was very large and spacious which was awesome. Great place to come back to and crash, but not the coziest if you’re spending any length of time in your room."

"We were greeted at the counter by a woman who said she doesn't even work at the hotel, and then we were told she couldn't accept our online reservation. The hotel owner refused to give us a room unless we paid by the day, so he could get the non-discounted pay. " The house was perfect for our family. I loved sitting on the deck and listening to the fish jump in the river. Super quiet street - just the escape we needed - yet close to everything. We enjoyed the kayaks and the large yard. We had trouble with the front door keypad but Phil was super apologetic and took care of it immediately. We would definitely stay here again! "

"The Salinity was completely remodeled after the hurricane. The room was clean with beautiful ocean views. Great communication with the host. However, the city of Cedar Key and surrounding area has so much more rebuilding to do. The devastation is widespread but the community and culture are excellent. I would definitely revisit. "
