"We were on 7th Floor, liked the view but needed Fresh Air Ventilation. The Rooftop pool was very nice! Not many English speakers in this town. The Breakfast was nice but Nothing for Americans except Watermelon and Coffee. the French Toast was not made with Eggs and there was no Maple syrup. the Chef needs to do his homework for what Western travelors like to eat. The laundry service was nice!. the Room Service was ok but the people taking orders by room phone don't understand English...

"This is an extraordinary hotel, a colourful and unique oasis in the middle of bustling kochi. The rooms were beautiful and large and cool with a hot shower and comfortable beds. The pool and communal areas were also gorgeous and tranquil. Breakfast was fine, a good selection. Staff were great also. The afternoon snacks were delightful and a really appreciated extra. "This is a great hotel on the waterfront in Fort Kochi. It is a marvellous restoration of this old boatyard to create a very colonial feel. There are some nice touches to take advantage of such as high tea at 5pm each day followed by a guided tour of the harbour on the hotel’s very nice boat. All the staff were excellent but I give particular thanks to Arun who could not do enough for us.
