"This property should not be on travelocity. It is a run down, bug infested, water damaged, no hot water, no facilities, no help to drag luggage up 2 flights of stairs...I am a 73 yr solo female traveler and felt unsafe the whole time I was there. No effort on this makeshift hotel to accommodate in any way. DO NOT STAY HERE."

"Christino Lagoon hotel is a wonderful hotel on an amazingly beautiful Lagoona. Netsed in tropicla vegetation the hotel provides a relaxed superior accomodation. It is a 30 min walk from town but I loved the secultion. The restaurant on site serves delicious food . it is a bit expansive but again the view while you eat is special. The staff is very sweet friendly and extremely accomodating. I must come back!"

"Loved everything about this place. Peace and quiet. Great service. You can get picked up on their dock for great private boat tours. Good was delicious. We went from Cancun to Bacalar in the Mayan Train and the hotel helped us with the transportation from and to the train station. I also recommend the mayan train."

"I have been waiting to stay here since I saw this resort the first time on the lagoon in 2021. I stayed at the over water cabana which offered beautiful lagoon view, unit 6 and 7 are newer units with glass patio doors. The cabanas are eco friendly therefore no AC but they provided 3 fans, the room is not completely sealed so some openings are covered with mesh to prevent bugs.
