"claimed to be soundproof room. Was not I was woke up to a couple shouting and also speaking at half 4 in the morning couldn’t get back to sleep. Water stopped working in the morning couldn’t flush toilet or brush teeth or have a shower."

"A lovely warm greeting from the team as we checked in. Our room had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable and the hotel was so quiet. We had the meal deal and the quality and amount for what you pay is excellent! I stayed here for a night with my daughter whilst work was being done on the house and we only live 10 mins away. If we lived further afield then Id definitely use this hotel again. For a low budget hotel, its amazing! Everyone is so friendly and polite. I cant rate it highly...

"Great place to stay but my room was freezing, we arrived after 6 , i think the rooms could have been warmed up before hand, so not a good start. The staff are very friendly and as a pensioner and no lift i was offered a down stairs room. The pub opposite was very handy for an evening meal and drinks. On the whole a good, clean, family place to stay, but please warm your rooms while it’s so cold. Myself and my family thought it was good value."

"Our stay was in a beautiful, warm and comfortable room, with good transport links and in a good location. However, the bathroom light never worked (which would indicate it not being cleaned either), no DVD player was provided when asked for despite being advertised as available, the bedsheets were not cleaned or changed and neither were the towels replaced- cleaning appeared to be to a minimum (ie the bin was emptied). Unfortunately our room was also left insecure following the bin being emptied...
