"Hotels.com messed up with communicating with the Hotel. They did however agree to a refund. I did get a room when someone canceled. Apartment was quite nice and comfortable. Location was great, close to entertainment and beach and town center. Overall experience was very satisfactory. I recommend this as an inexpensive, lovely hotel experience. "

"My second time staying in this unit and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first time. The property is well maintained and the unit is clean and comfortable. While I’m on vacation I still have a touch of home by being able to make a meal if I’d like, or hang out on the front patio to enjoy the breeze coming off the ocean. Will definitely stay here again."

"This is so far the best place I rented in Jamaica - it's close to Ocho Rios and kinda in the middle of the country so you could go anywhere you want. The house is just as described and as you see it in the pictures - very nice, convenient, equipped with everything you may need, even for cooking. Communicating with the host was easy and breezy. The gated community is safe and quiet. We definitely will book this house again for our next vacation in Jamaica if it's available."

"Wonderful staff , the chef accommodating my husbands Alpha Gal allergy was such a blessing! We had a wedding proposal with J and staff making it PERFECT! The views and grounds are to die for! We loved everyone and everything about this place! We felt so safe all week! They have two German Shepards on the property that belong to the owners that were so gentle and very protective of the home! We highly recommend Golden Cloud!"

"A group of 8 adults celebrating a bday stayed for 5 nights and we had an amazing experience. The first night we arrived we were greeted with a vodka infused drink and a cold towel which was awesome. "I like the fact that they served authentic Jamaican food as an option everyday , food overall was good .The hotel was very clean , room was clean .They responded to request and concern very promptly. What I didn’t like is that staff need to be more efficient especially in dinning area , on several occasions I had to be looking for a server to give us water or juice at the table ,their was also no napkin at one point and I had to ask the server twice for napkin a mean how can you set a table with nothing for us to wipe our hands , other wise the property was good , service was great I would give them a 8 out of 10 . Great place for family trip .very conveniently located , less than 10 minutes from Dunns river , mystic mountain and dolphin cove if you want to do excursions."

"This was my second stay at Sea Shell Palms. My first experience in May was very positive, so when I returned to Jamaica, I knew I wanted to stay here again. It is near Ocho Rios. Tower Isle is quiet and Sea Shell Palms offers great value for the cost. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Guests select what they would like for breakfast the day before and it is delivered to your door in the morning- delicious and filling. Everyone at Sea Shell Palms is friendly and the balcony with chairs is a nice place to sit and relax, read, and talk with staff and other guests. In front of the hotel is a plaza with everything I needed- grocery stores, restaurant, ice cream shop, pharmacy, post office, and church. When I was at Sea Shell Palms in May, they were working on putting in a swimming pool. When I returned in November, the pool was ready and I enjoyed swimming laps. So my stay was even better this time."
