This motel is very spacious and I loved the little outside deck. The views that overlook the bay are absolutely beautiful. Check in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Parking is right outside your motel door.

Property was average. Host very friendly and helpful. Unit basic but clean and tidy. Table chairs too hard to sit on for long. Cushions please. Duvet cover needed for bed. Fan in bathroom very load. External patio and area needs good tidy up.

Nice view across the bay. Adequate cooking facilities. Host greeted us despite our late arrival. Convenient to town and kauri walk. Parking area is very tight, but there is also parking below. Lots of birds in the gardens.

The view of the harbour from my room was sublime, very peaceful and serene. The unit was very spacious and had ample sleeping for five. I relaxed and enjoyed the coverage of the Paris Olympics provided on Sky while gazing out at the tranquil waters. A short drive to restaurants and bars. A friendly welcome from the Kiwi hosts make this a very memorable experience. I will definitely be back soon!

This property isn't 5Star, but it is very clean and comfortable with lovely views, within minutes driving to town and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owner/manager is very accommodating and friendly

Fantastic wonderful beautiful harbour view!!! Private patio. Great location. 5 mins to town. Unit very well equipped; decent kitchen. Charming, convivial, obliging host. Perfect motel experience.

Would look somewhere else.
Although this motel was very clean, it wss very out dated. Really needed an upgrade. The advertised spa does not exist. Harbour view was amazing but the gardens looked like they were taking over.

There was a lovely deck off our room overlooking the water which they upgraded for us, (we didn’t even have to ask), because they were not full. There is a great nature walk to town right outside the back door. Loved this place.
