"The hotel is very good for those who want to relax and enjoy the peacefulness. There are not many activities you can do around hotel site and Nabari is not a big city. Breakfast and dinner are plentiful. Staff are very service minded.Though they can't speak English much but they understand what you need."

"An old hotel, but very updated. Our TV had different options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. the room was nice and big, great for 2 people. And it was a 2 minute walk from Nabari Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only problem we noticed was in the light there were some cobwebs. We did see a spider on the wall as well. Other than that, everything was fine!"

"The rooms are spacious unlike the hotel I stayed at in Tokyo. The Staff are very adorable and friendly and polite and hospitable honestly it’s the full package. The services here are superb and the atmosphere is great. There’s tons of amenities unlike the hotel I stayed at in tokyo like the gym, spa, sauna, business room, pool etc."

Good for families

"Comfortable, firm beds and pillows. Good breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese options. There are free snacks and coffee in the lounge area, and you have an option to get a light early afternoon meal as well. Hotel is next to a grocery store, where we easily picked up anything else we needed. Staff are courteous and very helpful. Our 8-year-old loved the hotel. We would stay there again."

It’s the location!

"Knowing that we’d be using the train quite a bit, we chose the hotel primarily for its location - just a few short blocks from the Tokyo train station. It was perfect! (It’s also happens to be across the street from a mall with a Don Quijote - great for fun flavors of KitKats and souvenirs.) The breakfast buffet was worth the price and kept us going past lunch but we wished that it had varied a bit from day to day. There’s an espresso machine in the lounge though it would have been nice if there was one in the dining room where breakfast was served. Like most Japanese hotels, the room was on the small side and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The only negative was that we didn’t find the hotel desk or dining staff to be as friendly or as helpful as staff at other hotels. "

Excellent location and good facilities

"Ideal location for Kyoto station. We had a rooftop room with huge balcony. Room was nice apart from the bathroom - it’s like a plastic box that we saw a lot of ok Japan but it was on a slope so made me feel dizzy! Bedding could have been better but was ok. Breakfast was good and loved the free welcome drink every night. Bar was very cheap and so was restaurant in hotel. Nice seating area outside with fires and blankets. Free public bath with salt sauna. Massage chairs in south building and washing machines. Free tea and coffee You get a lot of bang for your buck at this hotel! Loved the pjs too Would stay again. "
