"Hotel is 3mins walk from the train station which was ideal as I was arriving into Omihachiman late at night. The room is clean and spacious. I booked a single room which is just next to the lift but I could not hear noise from they lift lobby. But I could hear the train if it was passing by the track next to the hotel. "This is an older Hotel that feels like its prime time was in the 1970's and has never left that era and that was perfectly fine by us! This was a great experience we were greeted as we drove up to the property by name as they were waiting for us! The attendant grabbed our bags and lead us to the desk where we checked in and did so in perfect English. We were given our kimonos to wear during our visit which we did.
