Built in 1898 this couple's retreat sits away from the big city but is central to all the Bay Area and Sonoma/Napa regions have to offer. With comfortable bedding and a front room with a wonderful bridge view, this stay has all you need to decompress. After a day of exploring the Bay Area come home to Bridgeview. Relax with a glass of wine on your choice of back or front garden decks. Or just sit in the living room and watch the lights on the bridge come to life as the sun sets on the water.

Property is as advertised
This property served my purposes and my stay was fine. I agree with most of the positive comments that have already been made But I think there are a few things worth noting that I did not see in comments already. 1. If you are planning to be in the house during the afternoon (for ex, if you have to work) in the summer, you might find it uncomfortably warm. The afternoon sun comes in the side windows in the living room and there are no curtains or blinds to block it out. It will cool off in the evening when you open the windows. 2. If you will have a car and are intimidated by parallel parking, this might not be the best place for you. Although there is usually a relatively easily accessible space in front of the side gate (which is the entrance to the house), I had to park somewhere else 2 days of my visit and the house sits on a fairly steep hill. If you're not familiar with parking on hills, review the guidelines for doing so. 3. This is not the best property for people with limited mobility. If you're able to park at the side gate, you can get to the door easily. But if you have to park somewhere else, you'll either need to go through the front gate and walk up some stairs or walk up a bit of a hill to the side gate.

Perfect Holiday Retreat: Cozy, Convenient, and Immaculate
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying over the holiday weekend. We were impressed with the proximity to cafes, shops, and really picturesque walks. Checkin was a breeze and the place was immaculate. We enjoyed listening to records and relaxing in their comfortable living room. We look forward to staying again next year.

A charming oasis
My husband and I needed a place to stay during our 3-month relocation process. Bridgeview was a lovely respite. The listing photos capture all the quaint details. As a previous reviewer mentioned, the property is much bigger in person. We felt so fortunate to stay as Spring arrived. Surrounded by the peaceful garden and beautiful roses added to the overall sense of tranquility. Lisa and John were thoughtful, accommodating hosts. We couldn’t have navigated this stressful move without the cozy nest to come home to. Not to mention, Crockett is a neat little town. High recommendations all the way around!

Cute and Quaint little home
Overall, we had a really nice stay. The home is labeled with little info cards that make it easy to find things. It was very clean, including the bathroom and bedding. The view is very cute and it’s in a convenient location for us to see our family. If I had to be picky, the bed is much too soft (but that’s a preference for me) and some of the light switches didn’t work. We thought it was very nice and would stay again.

Tastefully decorated house for two
It was a great three days! Bridgeview is bigger than the photos suggest. The house has plants and is furnished nicely. It’s very close to freeway access yet quiet and in a residential neighborhood. We walked to everything we wanted in Crockett. The house had all we needed for simple meal prep. It was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. It really is nice to see the bridge lights out the window. If it wasn't winter, I could imagine loving the outdoor seating options. I’d stay again if in the area.

Great place.
In town for a short visit with family and friends. I moved away a year and a half ago. Good location close to freeway and one of my favorite restaurants The Dead Fish. Nice quiet area would like to stay there again. Property management was fast to respond to a couple questions I had. This was the first time I’ve rented a place this way. The owners made it a good experience.

A great location
Cozy yet still felt open and airy. Close enough to bay area sites but away from the bustle of the city. Much nicer than a hotel at a comparable price. We loved the plants throughout the house. Would definitely stay here again!
