"Rooms shabby in parts. Bathroom very dated. We were celebrating an anniversary and special birthday but all we had was writing on a mirror. This was a disappointment. I also thought I left my watch in the room after checkout. I called to find out. Never heard back from them. They could have at least phoned to say they hadn’t located it. Breakfast felt rushed and was buffet whereas before it was al la carte. Don’t feel it’s 5 stars. It so could be with more attention to detail "

Could do with new pillows as they were very lumpy! Receptionist who greeted us was very friendly and helpful and the waitress servicing the breakfast area was excellent! Took a real pride in her work and super friendly."
