"Lagon 2 is an excellent hotel and one of the best choices in Dakar. The location on the water is very beautiful and the hotel is very comfortable, clean and the staff are all very gracious and helpful. The air conditioning works well and the room is spacious. The breakfast is very good with beautiful views to start your day. The Lagon 1 restaurant nearby is excellent with very good seafood. From the hotel, you can walk along the water into the town and then Independence Plaza. I recommend Lagon...

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Wide menu (but for room service, double-check that the menus match up to ensure the dishes are available!) The beach club was super relaxing and the breakfast buffet was really good. Front desk give good recommendations for the local area Only cons for us - slight delay in housekeeping requests and the live music events were a bit short. We will be back. Special shout out to Ann, Fode and Alex on the front desk for being very helpful and kind! Б"

"The only really uncomfortable issue with the hotel is that it is pretty old/dated the carpet smells and the air conditioning is good enough except that there is so much humidity that the bedding always feels damp - get a dehumidifier installed and it won't be so smelly or damp."

"I have visited Dakar on a number of occasions and had always wanted to spend more time along this beautiful corniche with its views of the ocean and Gorée island in the distance. The Hotel Jardin Savana more than met my expectations with its gracious and helpful staff, spacious rooms and well maintained furnishings. The design of the building seems to mimic the architecture of the slave fort at Gorée, which was alarming. But it really is quite grand and beautiful with large circular exterior...
