Holiday Homes in Dana Point

"Our stay was great. We wanted an affordable place for our family of four for a week with a view of the ocean and an easy drive to Disneyland for a couple of the days. This place fit the bill perfectly! The pool was heated and we had it mostly to ourselves every day. It was great to watch the sun set over the ocean from the hot tub! We visited the games room on one of the rainy days and played some pool, shuffleboard, and foosball, and the kids had fun. We also borrowed bikes one of the days from the activity room, and really enjoyed our ride along the oceanfront across the street. There were a couple areas being renovated, but we didn't hear any noise from the work (the "outdatedness" seemed to be something many others mentioned in their reviews... they're actively upgrading a few areas). One of the other complaints we read beforehand was that there would be pressure to sign up to buy a vacation timeshare, but other than a quick mention of there being a presentation IF we were interested (which we weren't), it was never mentioned again during our eight-night stay. Overall, the grounds were well-kept, our room was comfortable, and the little kitchen was well-appointed with everything we were looking for during our stay (we ate breakfast and lunch at the room most days). People who like to complain could surely find something to complain about anywhere, but we personally had no issues with anything at all during our stay! "

"Love this beautifully recently restored Spanish hotel. Perfect to celebrate our anniversary. For those like myself that appreciate historic details and beautiful antiques, you will not be disappointed. Ocean views from every window in the suite and the fireplace adds ambience and warms up the room. Bathroom is small but nice. It’s right on PCH but not too noisy. Grounds are lovely with fire pits and a large fountain. No pool but nice that they have lounge chairs on the lawn to look at the ocean. Beautiful bar/check-in lounge area. Overall a nice romantic hotel. Looking forward to our next visit. "
