"At surface level, it looks good but once you get settled in - it’s nothing more than your average hotel that prices itself as a 5-star hotel. The staff was very nice, and the activities available were nice to be able to participate in but the restaurant was over-priced for below-average food (minus the breakfast buffet, that was awesome), the pool was not well-maintained, and it was pretty far from everything. "Very friendly and helpful staff right from the checkin in to checking out. Staff were always very attentive and offering to help when required. Grounds and pool area very clean, staff continually checking for cleanliness. Hotel very quiet and safe. Pool access rooms excellent, only criticism was that there are no ladder/steps from room directly into the pool, only steps at end of pool and the lounges on the verandah were more like chairs and not very comfortable for lounging."

"Noisey with a lot of crying children near the garden delux rooms, the kids zone was closed due to maintenance which was frustrating since travelling with younger children. Seen a child vomit in garden bed and watch staff throw a bucket of water over it. Gross. Sadly I don’t think we will return after staying there half a dozen times in the past. "
