"A beautiful and tranquil b&b. The hosts were so helpful and friendly. It is very hard to get to by public transport if you are hoping to explore lake como but we were picked up from the station and lent bicycles for our stay which was so helpful and made a really nice addition to our holiday (we definitely felt silly for not researching the transport enough before). We will definitely come back! "

"quite a long walk from train station ( 1 km) no taxis! but pretty well the closest. bar is also reception (which was great as I was desperate for a beer after bus substituted for train! efficient small lift, comfortable room with large comfy bed & plenty of electric plugs. quiet in room despite it being a Saturday, although restaurant full with waiting list. great well priced Italian meal (despite being promoted as Sushi - which was available -after a fashion)! slept well. "This hotel is literally less than a 5 minute walk from the train station. This is a sister hotel, so you need to check in at the main hotel which is about a 2 minute walk. This is where there breakfast is served, which was more than adequate to start the day. Our room had a balcony with partial lake view, which was nice in the evening. I would stay here again if back in Varenna."
