"I stayed in room 711. This room needs some minor PM work but the patio divider made it worth it. The room layout was fantastic and after we figured out how to set the water temperature on the walls next to the sink the showers were awesome. This isn't a USA 5 star hotel but still very nice. It just needs some TLC."

"Wonderful stay. Clean. Beds were comfy. Food was great. Large selection for breakfast. We checked in early evening and had not eaten yet so we tried their dinner buffet. Reasonable cost and slot of amazing food from soup to salad to several main dishes to choose from, sides and desserts. Very nice 2 level pool."

Note that if you eat before you have been.assigned a room (if you came off an early flight where breakfast was inexistent or insufficient), the staff will take your name and charge your room later. "Airport shuttle service was very good. Restaurant/bar were still open and serving after we checked in at 9:30 PM Excellent, included breakfast buffet. Positive vibes. All of the staff were super friendly. Very nice room."

Hotel das Cataratas, A Belmond Hotel, Iguassu Falls

Belmond at its best!

"This is an amazing hotel only footsteps from and with views over the famous Iguazu Falls. From its pink facade to the sumptuous furnishings and artwork, the friendly and experienced staff, delicious food, this hotel has it all. The only small criticism I would make is regarding the plastic sun-bed cushions which are very uncomfortable and the towels just slip away. Some more up to date fabric covered cushions would be a very welcome improvement."
