"Makere Cottage was a perfect place to stay. We stayed in Tortola for a month this time and we couldn’t have selected a more perfect home. The property overlooks Cane Garden Bay which is beautiful and its location offers easy access to Road Town, restaurants and beaches. It is very roomy with good size rooms and plenty of closet space. "This is the place to go to enjoy the warm waters's of the Caribbean and learn how to sail, windsurf, snorkel, paddle board, or just enjoy swimming. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. You just need to ask and they are willing to adjust to your needs. The only little drawl back was the mosquitoes at night which they are not really able to do much about because dinner in in an open air restaurant on the beach. They provide mosquito repellent upon request...

"Our four wonderful nights in a one bedroom villa were perfect. Our room was amazing with beautiful views out of every window and 2 balconies which we spent a lot of time on. The property is stunning and very well maintained. The staff was very attentive providing excellent service. The fine dining restaurant just happened to be closed for some improvements so we ate at Donovan's Reef several times. The food was quite good. Lovely pool area too! We can't wait to go back. "
