"I didn't think the food at the restaurant was cooked very well. Twice I order chicken and it was overcooked. The people who worked there were pleasant enough but it felt like they didn't like their jobs. The only exception was our tour guide. Sadly, I can't remember his name but he was great. He was the guide who met us and went with us to the La Pavona Dock."

Das inbegriffene Frühstück ist hervorragend und auch sonst isst man sehr gut im Restaurant vor Ort (nicht ganz billig, wie überall in Costa Rica). Am Morgen wurden wir von Brüllaffen geweckt. Mit einem gratis Bootsshuttle kann man in den Hauptort fahren, wo es viele weitere Restaurants gibt."

"The rain was particularly heavy when we checked in and the room we booked had a small leak, so we had a downstairs river view for the first night. This first room, though large with AC, just felt dark (the windows were looking onto the lower terrace so you felt you had to shut the curtains). The shower also would not get warm. However, for the second night we were moved into an upstairs river view room, and what a difference! It was so light and airy feeling - again with AC and great space....
