"Hotels.com did not provide a reservation number that worked on their system. There was no person working check in so had to ring someone in an office elsewhere to try and check us in. Absolute painfully long and inefficient check in."

"No one at reception when we arrived at 8pm but # to call, he came within a few minutes and was very nice. Room was spacious and clean but felt like the 70s, no mini fridge and we weren’t given wifi password. Dinner ends at 9pm with only a buffet on offer, had seen better days by 8:20 we skipped it. Breakfast was adequate, extra charge for parking even though hotel is in the middle of no where, nothing close by. "We stayed in the guesthouse, which is separate from the bar / restaurant so it was very quiet. Love the regular old fashioned room key! Delicious dinner but no one spoke any English so we guessed at menu items. "

"The service was amazing and the food was delicious. Everyone from the owners who made you feel like family to all the servers were excellent. The owners spoke English. Although Steffi did not speak a lot of English she tried and always had a smile and was delightful. The tub was an unexpected surprise but a very good surprise. There was also a shower. I highly recommend this gasthof and if we come back we will definitely stay here again."
