"The area was gorgeous and the cottages were set up really cute and quaint! Very friendly and accommodating staff. The road to the cottages could use some work, and should be driven with mindfulness. Just to be clear; this is a rural and homely experience on a farm. A place to hang your hat and enjoy the calm & quiet of the small lakeside. "We very much enjoyed our stay in this darling cabin! The cabin was clean, the scenery is beautiful, and the animals on site are delightful. The hosts are very easy to talk with and were happy to take us on a tour of the property. We enjoyed seeing the cows right outside of our cabin as we relaxed in the mornings on the comfortable porch. There are great restaurants in the nearby town, and a grocery store is an easy 10-15 minute drive away. We would definitely choose to stay here again!"

"The cabin was such a lifesaver in the Texas humidity and heat. We were here for the Texas RenFest and we only were in the cabin for sleeping. Two tubs, no shower. Weird but fun if you have a spouse. The AC worked and we had a refrigerator and microwave. There was a wedding on site while we were there, no issues. Thanks y'all."
