"I stayed in a single-bed room and it was great for what I needed. The room was clean that staff was very friendly. If there is any "negative", and I use that term very loosely, it's that the continental breakfast did not have any already made eggs or breakfast meat, like sausage or bacon. There are plenty of other items like waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and pre-packaged egg sandwiches that you could warm up in the microwave. Not a big deal, just something noticeable. Considering how much I paid, the stay was excellent, and I would stay there again. "

"Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU"

"It was perfect, the staff made the stay extra special. Hotel rooms were clean, and the shuttle bus they have is so helpful when going to a Penn State Hockey Game. "

"As I told the front desk when we checked out this was the worst nights sleep at a hotel. Their HVAC needs major repairs, each time the heat would come on it sounded like a jet airplane engine and woke us up. When it turned off it was a constant sound like a squeak/cricket. We have stayed here several times but this time was very disappointing. The front desk clerk shared she was aware of the HVAC issue and knew it hasn’t been fixed/dealt with. :-( We did try to dine at The Field last night but were told it was a 1.5 hour or longer wait so we had to leave the property to find another restaurant. "
