"The location and setting was perfect, very tranquil and peaceful. Enjoyed the walk around the picturesque golf course. Just what we wanted for the 4 night long weekend. However the Spa service was poor, no communication as to the treatment requirements or during the actual treatment, probably the worst massage I have had. "Staff superb. Most things very good. 2 exceptions 1. The jacuzzi bath jets were broken and it was awkward to fill the bath. As this was one of the reasons I chose the room this was disappointing. 2. The breakfast was mediocre at best. Continental bit OK; cooked bit very poor. 1 smallish sausage and 2 small pieces of streaky bacon and 2 eggs. could have had beans and tomato but do not like them."

"The worst service we have ever received from a hotel/Bnb. It was a very hot 32 degree day and the air conditioner was broken in our room. We asked for another room when we we told the bnb was fully occupied which was understandable. We then requested that we get a refund for our accommodation because we couldn’t stay in a room that was so hot. The owner told us we needed to wait for her maintenance guy who was a 2 hour drive away, let alone the amount of time it would take him to repair a broken...
