"Location was great, right in the middle of Old Port. Perfect base for exploring. Sometimes felt like you were intruding on staff at reception for some reason, even if just to ask basic information of the hotel or area. But the hotel bar and staff more than made up for it. It’s a bit hidden but worth stopping by if you can. "

"This location, The Charles Inn at Vacationland in Bangor, ME is on your website and allowed me to book 3 rooms and it hasn’t been in operation for 2 yrs. I drove 4 hrs with family to arrive and find out we in fact did not have rooms to stay the weekend for my daughter’s college graduation. I had no other option but to look for 3 rooms elsewhere at the last minute and had to pay $1,300 more than I thought I was paying for the first place I thought I had booked. This location needs to be removed...

"We had a pleasant bit somewhat dated room. Comfortable bed and pillows. Bathroom fine. It's a big old place that needs some upgrading. It has charm certainly but for the price I would say it was not worth it."

"The staff was super friendly and I did get an upgraded room with a beautiful view of Rockland Harbor but the reading lights and outlets did not work truly not an issue since I was only there one night. The staff did an excellent T job even though they were short staffed. Will stay there again when the renovations are completed."
