"This is an old hotel that has been refurbished. They have worked to keep the antique feeling. Gorgeous, but the old fashion lighting can feel a little dark. The train car rooms are amazing for anyone that loves trains or just wants a unique experience. "Overall for the price my expectations were exceeded. Staff was very nice and check in was easy. We had planned to dine at the Smokehouse Restaurant and although Google claims it's open until 9PM on Sundays, they had closed at 5PM, so that was disappointing. The bedding and pillows were a bit worn and lumpy, and the dead bolt latch on the back of the door was missing, but overall it was clean and very quiet. "

"The rooms were a decent size and provided sufficient space for two adults to both open their suitcases at once! This is big - a simple but important convenience that many of your competitors overlook! We loved the shower stall and the water quality and pressure were great. Food was tasty, but my schedule was such that I didn't get to order either of your signature desserts (Raspberry/White Chocolate Bread Pudding & Apple Hand Pie), but I fully expect to try them on my next visit!
