"The hotel is beautiful inside and out. Gardens lovely and secluded. Staff excellent Sadly the plumbing in Rm 10 terrible and we had no water or able to shower. "

"The hotel is being refurbished but don't let that out you off. The rooms are spacious with decent bath and shower facilities. The staff are top notch, couldn't be any more friendly or helpful. Decent buffet breakfast too! Once the spa facilities are open again this would be my first pic everytime on a visit to Ipswich. "

"I stayed here for a night with my son rather than Bury st Ed and it was an excellent experience. The Hotel has a real charm and character. The rooms are clean. The decor maybe tired and sort of 90s chic. However the number 1 thing for us here was the fantastic staff .From the friendly lady at front of house who checked us in and explained things. The fantastic lady at the bar who showed us local eating choices and breakfast places . It was a real delight to stay here. Good staff make all the difference. I'd stay here again. "

"I enjoy staying at the holiday Inn Ipswich. I can walk to it, is convenient in that respect. I visit because the staff treat guests very well with politeness and courtesy, also they help in any way that they can when you request anything. The swimming pool jacuzzi steam room and sauna are all great , i enjoy using them during my stay. The food is exellent , i particularly enjoy the hand batteted haddock with chips ,it is so delicious . Also the lemon baked Alaska with cornish clotted cream ice cream is just one of the best desserts i have ever tasted. Very clean and comfortable soacious roons with alk that is needed for your stay to be enjoyable My son and daughter in law had their wedding reception here 12 years ago, and at present my grandson has swimming lessons here. It is great to live so close and enjoy this lovely hotel, and all that it has to offer. I would recommend this hotel as excellent, to family ,friends,and anyone who asks about it."

"Stupid realy but 4 satchets of milk is not enough as you need 2 in each co..min of 8 to save wasting staff time finding some.."
