"This is a beautiful hotel that is in a fabulous location of old town Stockholm. It is like stepping back in time. It was perfect for our 2 nights in Stockholm. It had a lovely breakfast buffet. And conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, waterfront and the palace. Highly recommend this hotel."

"This was my sixth stay at Mälardrottningen, so obviously I’m a fan. It’s been a few years since my last stay and there have been some changes, the reception area has been relocated and the restaurant has been updated. It’s all very nice looking but requires that you drag your luggage up a metal ramp to check in. And as before, the stairs are short and somewhat steep so hang on to the hand rail. "Lovely hotel with very friendly and welcoming service at the reception. We were able to check in 2 hours early and there was a coffee machine incl. oat milk which was great. The location is fantastic just a 4 mins walk from the metro station and 3 stops from the old town. The breakfast selection was good as well. The only downside was the somewhat dark room despite 2 windows and very small and dark bathroom, which was a surprise. "
