"This was our second stay at The Tides and our fourth visit to the island. As before, the rooms were well appointed and the service staff were very attentive to making our stay most enjoyable (big thanks to Wayne and his team). Although not directly on beach, The Tides is only a two-minute walk (or less than one-minute shuttle ride) from the world famous Grace Bay Beach where guests can access beach umbrellas and loungers. "Our stay was very comfortable. We thought we had booked the deluxe garden room, but unfortunately we had not. The front desk person Sandy, was very accommodating, and was able to get us a room w/a garden view. The gentleman Desir, took our bags to the 3rd floor, only to have to bring them back down again. "Ariel and his lovely wife Jane were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay at the property - and always available to answer any questions. The Inn was conveniently located - just a three minute walk to beautiful Grace Bay beach and a few minute walk to a vibrant downtown area full of shops and restaurants.
